Year 4 Camp

On Thursday 13th and Friday 14th February the Yr 4 children took part in an over night stay at the school.  The children slept in tents, ate burgers and took part in many different activities.

We were visited by Officer Mark Chapman and Nitro from the Police Dog Unit.  They showed the children, teachers and parents how well trained and clever police dogs are.  Mr. Brock got quite a scare when Nitro managed to jump to the top of the climbing wall.  It had seemed like a great hiding place, but Mr. Brock did not know that police dogs could fly!

    Hi Mr Brock, it was an awesome camp!!! I had a great time. My favorite part was when the dog chased you lol that was funny. My mum missed me and I had lots to tell her.

    My mum sends a big thank you to everyone concerned, who made the camp experience a wonderful one...Te Rau Aroha loved it! Thank you :)

    Hi Te Rau Aroha. Thanks for commenting on our class blog. I'm so glad you enjoyed camp. We all had great fun didn't we?

    I know everyone thought it was really funny when 'Nitro' the police dog chased me, but I was a little bit scared. I'm glad he was a well trained dog and didn't bite me!

    I'm sure you will enjoy many of the other exciting things we have planned for the rest of this year just as much.

    Year 4 camp was usual enough. It had burgers,tents,sleeping bags and a fun movie .There was also a water fight which was cold and was my favourite part of the whole camp. I had great time soaking,running and getting wet with Mr.Brock. Happy days. From:Sava.

    year4 camp was usual enough. It had tents,sleeping bags,burgers and a deloushous food. there was also a police dog and mark the policeman
    which was fun and cold and was my favourate part of the whole camp.I had a great time playing , watching things and runing around with adolts and teachers.

      Well done Jay and Zach. Next time, remember to use capital letters where they are needed. Can you now write a list of as many adjectives as you can think of that describe camp.

    Year 4 camp was usual enough. It had tents,burgers,games and long movie.there was also a waterfight which was my favourite part of the whole camp.i had a great time singing,eating and sleeping with friends happy days. Fletcher and Lucah
